King Mswati has urged emaSwati to vote for people who will maintain peace and advance the country’s economic development agenda, government online platforms reported on Friday morning.
Addressing journalists on Thursday at Ludzidzini Palace during a press conference,the King thanked the outgoing government for working tirelessly in developing the country, he urged incoming politicians to do the same.
“The outgoing Government did an exceptional job and the incoming Government should do the same so that we may continue to be ranked highly as a country in terms of the economy.These should be people who love the kingdom; who will protect it, and who will ensure that the country continues on its development path, while maintaining peace and stability and continuing to attract investments, both domestic and foreign.
Whether young or old, it is important that no one is left out in the elections process. No one should say ‘my voice has not been heard.’ Young people should make sure they participate and vote for men and women who have integrity, are intelligent and who aspire to make the country’s future bright,” said the King.
